Before becoming Of Counsel to Kienbaum Opperwall Hardy & Pelton in 2000, Mr. Marrocco was Team Leader of the Employment and Labor Litigation Group in Ford Motor Company’s Office of the General Counsel. His areas of expertise include employment litigation, preventive counseling and dispute resolution. During the past decade, Mr. Marrocco devoted his time in private practice to helping parties resolve litigation disputes. He was also a frequent speaker at employment law seminars. Mr. Marrocco is considered one of the premier employment mediators/facilitators in Michigan and continues to assist the Firm’s attorneys as resolution counsel.


From 1999 to 2006, Mr. Marrocco was a member of the State Bar of Michigan Judicial Qualifications Committee, which makes recommendations to the Governor regarding candidates for judicial appointments. He also served for nearly 20 years on the Wolverine Bar Association Judicial Qualifications Committee and the Circuit Court Bench-Bar Committee of the Metropolitan Detroit Bar Association.

Mr. Marrocco received his law degree in 1970 from the Detroit College of Law (now Michigan State University College of Law).
