Prior to joining KOHP, Ms. Nirenberg served as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney in the Office of the Oakland County Prosecutor, where she gained extensive trial experience – in just a few years she tried 15 bench trials and 11 jury trials, and conducted over 100 preliminary examinations on felony cases and other evidentiary hearings.

Ms. Nirenberg graduated cum laude from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law in 2013, where she was awarded the Order of the Barristers, was a member of the National ABA Moot Court Team, an Executive Articles Editor of the Jurisprudence Review, a Dean’s List recipient, and she published “Resurgence of Secularism: Hostility Towards Religion in the United States and France” in the Jurisprudence Review.

Prior to law school, Ms. Nirenberg graduated with high honors from James Madison College at Michigan State University in 2009, where she was a student athlete on the Varsity NCAA Division I Women’s Golf Team.
